Weeding is something almost all of us despise. It can seem like a never ending task and if you do not remove the weeds properly, you can often see them starting to grow back even within the space of a few days.

Ideally when weeding, you need to remove the weed and all of its roots. You also need to be carefully not to spread any seeds that may come off the plant when weeding. Once you have removed all the weeds you will need to try and do something if you want them to stop growing back. You have a number of options available that can eliminate or significantly reduce weed growth.

Adding weed killer can kill or any roots remaining for weeds and therefore remove or slow down the regrowth of them. This may not be a viable option if you have small children or pets that it may be harmful to. Other ways include adding a weeding sheet and then bark meaning that it is too dark for the weeds to grow back. This can work really well but can be expensive to do especially on larger patches.
