Stalham the home of the Richardsons hire cruisers boat yard, has plenty of facilities for shopping with a large Tesco's in the village across the main road, a short walk from the river. The High street caters for most needs with shops, banks and pubs etc.
Public moorings are limited but Richardsons boat yard have visitors mooring available if the public moorings are full.
Also the Museum of the Broads is situated here, (moved from Potter Heigham) with many interesting exhibits relating to how the Broads have developed througout history.
